The refreshed version of iconic feature phone Nokia 3310 has made its way to India with a price tag of Rs 3310. The new phone, first showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year, will be available across the country from May 18.
The dual SIM phone boasts of over 22 hours of talk time and standby time of nearly a month. It comes with a 2 MP camera with LED Flash, a 2.4-inch colour display and support for 32GB memory card.
“Talk all day on a single charge, send texts, take pictures and enjoy a pocket jukebox with a built-in FM Radio and MP3 player. Our reinvention of this classic design is sure to make you smile. It’s got everything you remember, but with a modern twist,” Ajey Mehta, VP-India, HMD, Global said.
HMD Global, headquartered in Finland, has an exclusive 10-year brand licensing agreement with Nokia for mobile phones
and tablets globally. The firm will also bring in Android powered smartphones under the Nokia brand.
The Nokia 3310 will come in four colours – red, yellow, dark blue and grey. It “will retail at a recommended best buy price of Rs. 3310.”
Nokia 3310 was first launched in 2000.
